Quite nice logo sinus distorter effect, otherwise pretty basic. One thing that amazes me with this type of stuff is how plain it is - way behind what was being done on the Amiga and yet this console was released after the Amiga (in an officially made and sold sense) was pretty much dead. Is it just that making this type of stuff for console is extremely difficult or is it lazy cracktro coders or...? Not a question meant to cause any offence to any N64 cracktro coders out there, just curious is all. :)

There was far less information on coding the N64 available compared to the Amiga (Kernel ref manual, etc.).  Some intros/trainers were also done in pure asm, without the benefit of devkit libraries (which simplified things enormously on consoles!).  It was also entirely suited to 3d, with very little (if any) support for 2d/framebuffer style effects - add in the usual problems of no realtime debugging/emulators, and you can see why most intros weren't exactly full of mindblowing effects :)
