I was in Energy for a while - nice bunch of guys predominantly from Austria (hence the nice reference in colors of the copperbars). Had some talented people but not enough 'drive' to take it to the top.

I remember quite a lot of decent trainers from Energy, although they were always a bit slow (maybe not to actually train the stuff, but spread it to the major US boards).

That's because they/we had a different philosophy which was to train every possible item in the game and so they usually had more trainer options than the average trainer (holding a number of records). More important "slowness" contributor: they relied on snailmail to get games to the trainer and back... So yeah, it would sometimes take 10-12 days for a trainer to be released on the Austrian boards. They also had a lack of "means to call" (which was one of the reasons I was asked to join) so spreading wasn't always easy or affordable. In a nutshell: you are right, most trainers took too much time to make it to the top boards.

Nothing says 80's Amiga like that font! Doesn't the vertical motion of that scroller look a bit odd? It's like the coder typed the sine table by hand :)

Just a very little thing I've noticed with original here : http://janeway.exotica.org.uk/release.php?id=2531 is there is approx 1cm either side where the scroller does not appear? Personnally I prefer the one above with a fullscreen width scroller. Was the origanal done like this deliberately due to different screen configs?

I see this a lot and like you I prefer this size rather than have the scroller cut off so I do the remake based on the width of the scroller.
